This handsome hat is knitted in the round with a simple slip stitch pattern. The cowl comes in one size and the hat offers two sizes and two lengths. With 7 colors of Ito Kuroten, 21 different color combinations are possible. Highly contrasting color combinations result in a very graphic effect. Conversely, colors with closer values will produce a softer effect.

- S/M (M/L) lower circumference at brim approx. 17¼" / 44 cm / for actual head circumferences of 19"- 20½" / 48-52 cm (approx. 20½" / 52 cm for actual head circumferences of 56-60 cm / 22" - 23½"); height approx. 8¼" / 21 cm for the shorter version and approx. 9¾" / 25 cm for the longer version.

- Cowl: Shown in soft color contrast: Color A #883 Pearl Gray; Color B #881 String.
- Cowl: Suggestion for high color contrast (not shown): Color A #883 Pearl Gray; Color B #886 Orient Blue.
- Hat: Shown in soft color contrast in long version (lower left): Color A #884 Gray; Color B #880 Mustard.
- Hat: Shown in high color contrast in short version (upper right): Color A #885 Charcoal; Color B #882 Angora with optional color #880 Mustard for the first 7 rounds of color B.
NEEDLES
- Cowl: 24" circular US 4 / 3.5 mm.
- Hat: 16" circular US 3 / 3 mm and set of double-pointed US 3 / 3 mm.
