YARN

• MC 150 grams of Isager Alpaca 2 (hold 2 strands together throughout).
• CC1 and CC2 50 grams each of Isager Alpaca 2 or Isager Tvinni (strands used singly). Each contrast color only requires approx 20 grams—any fingering yarn in your stash will do.

NEEDLES

• Straight or circular US 9 (5.5 mm).
• Three short US 2 or 2½ (2.75 or 3 mm) double-pointed needles.

NOTIONS

• 2 small point protectors.
• Short stitch holder.
• Scrap yarn.
• Blunt-pointed darning needle.
• Safety pin or locking marker.

GAUGE

• 18 sts and 30 rows on US 9 holding 2 strands of Alpaca 2 together in garter st = 4".
